A free family space during the Billycart Derby with water, sunscreen, and quiet area for families.
The annual Billycart Derby is back in Bangalow this weekend! Hosted by the Bangalow Lions Club, it’s always a fun community day, with billycarts racing down Byron Street all day long.
To help make the day a little easier for families, Bangalow Byron Bay Uniting Church will be opening our church hall from 9am–1pm as a free family space.
Out the front of Bangalow Uniting Church, 17 Station Street, you’ll find friendly volunteers offering:
- Cold water
- Sunscreen
- Free babyccinos
Inside the church hall, families are welcome to use a quiet space for:
- Nappy changes
- Breastfeeding or bottle feeding
- A quick break from the crowds
Whether you need to top up water, wrangle little ones, or just take a breather during the day, you’re warmly welcome to stop by.
