Bangalow Byron Bay Uniting Church offers welcoming spaces for regular community use across two locations: Bangalow and Byron Bay.
Our venues are available for small groups, classes, rehearsals, training, meetings, and community gatherings looking for an ongoing or regular place to meet.
Suitable for:
- yoga and movement classes
- choirs and music rehearsals
- workshops and training groups
- support groups
- community gatherings and regular meetings
Please note: our venues are not available for one-off private social functions or parties.
Our Venues
Bangalow Church
A beautiful heritage-listed timber church in the heart of Bangalow Village, featuring stained glass windows, warm character, and excellent acoustics.
Ideal for:
- choirs and acoustic music
- weddings
- small gatherings and classes
Conveniently located within walking distance of Bangalow cafés, restaurants, and shops.
Byron Bay Church
A larger, modern church space located on Carlyle Street in Byron Bay.
Ideal for:
- larger groups and gatherings
- classes and workshops
- meetings and community events
- weddings
Venue Hire Requirements
All venue hirers must hold current public liability insurance and be able to provide a copy prior to booking.

Weddings
Both Bangalow and Byron Bay churches are available for weddings.
- Bangalow offers a picturesque heritage church setting with timber interiors and stained glass windows.
- Byron Bay offers a larger, contemporary church space in a central location.
We are delighted to celebrate weddings for couples regardless of gender or sexual identity.
